Desmondji- Facebook Cover Photo Week One

So, I did something up real quick and sent it over to the guys at Desmondji. They were soon to be entering Bangalore market with their range of spirits and they wanted something quirky that depicted their style and mood through us, Illustration Much.

Desmondji Project - 100 % Cane

As a part of Illustration Much, I got to do a small pilot project for Desmondji's new range of  Agave Spirits. It was fun, although our options didn't get selected. But ah well, They've agreed on using our expertise for updating their facebook cover photograph on a weekly basis. Yay!

Bangalore Chapter : Begins

Things have been quite busy , as usual. Hence, I've been slow on updating about what's new. Life is good. I've started working at a studio as a graphic designer in Bangalore. I've also formed an initiative with a bunch of my friends who love to illustrate. We call ourselves 'Illustration Much' and we've been running around taking part in events, putting up stalls in flea markets and I kid you not, in 2 months down the line of forming it, we've already reached 500 likes on facebook. Life is soo good right now :)

Bathroom Tales

What I am about to tell you is strictly confidential and it arises from my bathroom walls. It's strange how most interesting concepts arise from taking your morning dump. So, I've decided today to make a post on this, nothing great really. It's just something that just occurred to me

Note 1: Wouldn't it be cool if.....
You could come up with a sticky note that's water resistant. I would love to pen down my ideas on paper than on an android app or anything digital of those sorts. It would really help when I am thinking of concepts for work, considering how tiny my bathroom is and how my commode sort of encroaches onto my shower area. It could also add color to my bathroom, maybe?

Note 2: I don't cook. I never did, I've tried but I must say I am not that creative with food. Maybe because of that, I think it would be cool if there was app that sort of told you what you could cook based on what's there in your refrigerator. Don't you get it? It saves time researching and buying ingredients just to make that one recipe that could blow people who eat your food away. I mean, It would definitely make it simpler by it telling you , 'Hey, you could try using this recipe.........' It's just a thought. I am not even sure if it's out there already. If it is, please tell me.. I soo totally need one right now.  *Hunger*

Hi.
I have started developing characters for an ad campaign for an amusement park. I want my campaign to look fun, energetic and highlight all the scary parts of a park. So, I came up with a slogan
'OMG!' referring to all the instances where the word OMG would occur naturally.
Let's see how it turns out.
ps: I hate colours. Wish the whole world was in black and white

Dexter Madness

It's such a relief, really. I just finished watching 5 seasons of Dexter. Maddening, I tell you. I couldn't have imagined sleeping any earlier than 7am this morning. Three days in a row, I need to get an award. I'm glad I finished submitting all my previous college assignments, I get some time for myself. I think Michael C. Hall is a brilliant actor. Anyway, today seems like one of those slow , lazy days. I haven't done anything much. Hmm.. And I'm pretty much trying to figure out what to do with the rest of 8 hours before I hit the bed again. Sigh

I'm really sorry for not updating my blog. Lately, so many things had been going on. For example, I've started watching Dexter. I know I'm a little late at it, but nonetheless, it's got my full attention now. That's when I realized, I hadn't posted anything on my blog recently. Been doing a lot of College assignments, really. My exams are due next week. But here I am, relaxing. Watching Dexter. Eating whenever I want to. Meeting friends. Partying occasionally. Coming back and watching Dexter.
Anyway, I thought I would upload something that was recently done as a part of my curriculum.

An ad-campaign on Homophobia.
Target Audience: Homophobis
Slogan of the campaign: Be loud and Be proud( Cliche right?)
Meaning: An illustration based approach depicting a scene off a gay parade. The campaign is all about acceptance of homosexuals in our society and to rejoice their existence.
